Big Color, Bigger Moment: Audrey Lane’s Custom Mosaic Anchors Three Taverns’ New Atlanta Taproom

Three Taverns Brewery’s new Ponce Brew Terminal at Atlanta’s Ponce City Market has a wall that gets noticed before anyone orders a drink. Working with design firm Gentle Works, tile company Audrey Lane built a custom installation for the space through its Muralist Mosaic program: oversized mosaic archways that stretch across a banquette wall in shifting shades of teal, coral, and gold.

A Color Story Built to Order

Muralist Mosaic is Audrey Lane’s custom program for designers who want something a catalog cannot offer. Instead of choosing a preset pattern, designers submit a color story, gradient, or artwork-inspired concept, and Audrey Lane translates it into a mosaic installation made from more than 125 available colors and finishes. At Three Taverns, that meant the archway pattern could be built around the brand’s palette and the room’s energy, rather than adapted from an existing collection.

Why It’s Worth Watching

For designers working in hospitality and commercial spaces, the project is a good example of what a fully custom tile program can do for a feature wall: turn it from a finishing touch into the focal point clients remember. It is also a reminder that vendor partnerships, like the one between Audrey Lane and Gentle Works on this project, can shape a space’s identity as much as the floor plan does.
