How to Blog for local SEO to get more design clients

You want to attract local clients to your website, but you don’t know how. You know you should be writing blogs, but you don’t have the time or the mental energy to do this. I will teach you how to use ChatGPT to help you save time, give you ideas you can execute, and give you a step-by-step guide on how to do this for yourself. The first step is that many of you do more work on your phone. You can use ChatGPT on a computer or an app.

Here is the app to download: Chat GTP for iPhone

After you open the app, you need a prompt to tell ChatGTP what you want. I will use my friend, Shannon Ggem, as an example because I did this for her blog last night and made ten articles for her. So, Shannon is laid back; she’s cool. She loves the outdoors. Not surprisingly, she’s into biophilic design. Nature in everything she does. She lives near and services Malibu, California.

So, I first asked ChatGPT this:

Act as an SEO expert with ten years of experience and give me a list of 25 SEO blog articles I can write for Shannon Ggem Design in Malibu.

Here is the result:
  1. “10 Tips for Creating a Coastal-Themed Interior Design in Malibu”

Next step. You want to go to Google and type the first title of your blog post (no quotations)
You will see PEOPLE ALSO ASKED and a list of questions. Screen-shot those to copy and paste from your phone or just copy them from your computer.

Now we are returning to Chat GPT and will write our first blog post.

Tell ChatGTP: Act as an SEO expert with ten years of experience and write a blog post titled “10 Tips for Creating a Coastal-Themed Interior Design in Malibu.” Keep it casual, but write artistically for Shannon Ggem Design. Be sure to answer these questions also: What are the key elements of coastal interior design? How do you design a coastal interior? What are the key elements of coastal style? Here was the output:

Slug: coastal-themed-interior-design-malibuMeta Description: Discover the art of coastal-themed interior design in Malibu with these 10 tips. Learn how to incorporate key elements of coastal style, design with a coastal theme, and transform your home into a serene coastal retreat.

Section 1: Introduction to Coastal-Themed Interior DesignKey Elements of Coastal Interior Design:

1.1. Coastal Color Palette: Embrace soft blues, sandy neutrals, and crisp whites to mimic the colors of the ocean, sky, and beach. These colors create a serene and calming atmosphere that instantly transports you to the coast.

1.2. Natural Materials: Incorporate organic textures like rattan, jute, and reclaimed wood to bring the outdoors in. These materials add warmth and authenticity to your coastal-themed space.

1.3. Light and Airy Atmosphere: Create an open and breezy ambiance by maximizing natural light and airflow. Opt for sheer curtains, large windows, and strategically placed mirrors to reflect light and make the space feel larger.
Section 2: Designing with a Coastal Theme

2.1. Start with a Vision: Define your vision for the space and how you want it to reflect the coastal theme. Consider the desired mood and atmosphere, whether it’s a laid-back beach cottage or a sophisticated coastal retreat.

2.2. Space Planning: Optimize your layout to maximize flow and create a sense of openness. Arrange furniture to promote conversation and highlight views. Keep the space uncluttered and allow for easy movement.

2.3. Coastal-Inspired Furniture: Choose pieces with relaxed silhouettes, light-colored upholstery, and natural materials. Wicker chairs, slip-covered sofas, and driftwood coffee tables evoke a coastal charm and comfort.

Section 3: Key Elements of Coastal Style

3.1. Beach-Inspired Flooring: Select hardwood or tile flooring in light or weathered finishes to evoke the feeling of walking on sand. Consider whitewashed or bleached wood for a coastal cottage appeal.

3.2. Window Treatments: Use lightweight curtains or shades that allow natural light to filter through. Consider incorporating sheer fabrics for an ethereal coastal vibe. Opt for blinds or shutters that can be easily adjusted to control the amount of light and privacy.

3.3. Coastal Accents: Incorporate coastal-inspired decor such as seashells, driftwood, and coral as accents to enhance the coastal theme. Display them in vignettes, on shelves, or as wall art to add visual interest and a touch of the sea.

It goes on from here.

You get the idea.

This can be easier if you are on your laptop, but I’m walking you through how to do it on your phone because it might be more convenient.
So, that gives you a great outline of an SEOed blog post. I suggest you go in there and edit and add 250 words so it’s not all computer-generated then add your own images.
